WHAT IS THE LAGREE METHOD?

The Lagree Fitness Method was invented and developed by legendary fitness professional Sebastien Lagree. The Method is a high intensity, low-impact, full body workout that will strengthen, tighten, and tone your muscles quickly and safely by effectively combining strength, core and endurance. The method uses “time under tension” principle which will leave your muscles shaking! You can learn more behind the science at lagreefitness.com.

HOW IS LAGREE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PILATES CLASSES?

Lagree Fitness has distinguished itself from every form of exercise, including Pilates, which lacks intensity. The Lagree Method utilizes tried and proven bodybuilding training techniques not inherent to Pilates. The union of these bodybuilding techniques and low-impact qualities, which are fundamental to Lagree Fitness, directly translate to rapid results. While Pilates is based on breathing, concentration, control, centering, flow postural alignment, and precision, Lagree Fitness is fundamentally based on the following: Effective Form, Effective Range of Motion, Effective Tempo, Effective Duration, Effective Sequence, Effective Transition, Effective Tension, and Effective Plane of Motion.

What is the Megaformer/Miniformer Pro?

The state of the art Megaformer (Walnut Creek Location) and the Miniformer Pro (Danville location) are two of the innovative machines developed by Sebastien Lagree. We are proud to be the first studio in California to introduce the MiniPro machine! Both machines include spring tension for resistance which works the muscle differently than traditional weight training. The machine includes a pulley cable system. The Miniformer Pro includes platforms that incline to take your workout to another level.

What is the Power Tower?

The climbing machine is a full body strength and conditioning cardio machine utilizing the Summit Power Tower by Synergy Air. CB Fit is proud to be the first in the Bay Area and third in the nation to introduce these innovative vertical climb machines to hit the market in over two decades!

How do I book my first class?

Head over to our schedule page where you can click on the desired class time which will prompt you to create an account with us. Once you create an account you can purchase the first class for $20 and schedule your first class!

How do I know what class is best for me?

Start with a Total Body (Lagree) class if you are looking for a slow burn strength training workout on one of our Lagree machines. If you’re looking for more cardio and weight training workout then our Climb x Bootcamp class is the one for you.

Where can I park?

We have FREE parking at both our locations!

Can I take these classes while pregnant?

Yes, all of our workouts are pregnant friendly. However, please consult your medical professional before starting any new workout while pregnant. All of our trainers are qualified to modify the workouts if you are pregnant.

I’m new to working out, is this beginner friendly?

YES! If you are a beginner, you can join any class.  The beauty of our workouts offered is that they are designed with modifications throughout the class making it accessible to all newbies.  If you have a medical condition or injury, please be sure to let your instructor know before class starts.  If you aren’t sure and want to book a private before jumping into a class please email us at info@cbfit.com to schedule a private with one of our trainers.

What’s the Cancellation/No Show Policy?

  • ALL cancellations must be done through our CB Fit app or website. You may cancel a reserved session for any reason without penalty up to 12 hours prior to the scheduled class time. A cancellation less than 12 hours will result in a $15 charge. Clients with packages and limited autopay will lose that session from their package. A no show without canceling will result in a $25 charge.
  • Private sessions require 24-hour cancellation notice.  If you need to cancel for any reason please email us at info@cbfit.com. Late cancels or no-shows result in a forfeiture of a class.
  • For membership cancellations or changes to your autopay, please email info@cbfit.com
  • Late cancels and no-show fees are non-refundable.
  • Your trainers expect you in the class, fellow teammates would love your spot and we don’t want you to miss a great workout!

How does your waitlist work?

  • If a class is full, you can absolutely join the waitlist — and we do recommend doing this! Not only will you have better luck getting into a session, it also helps us know where we need to add classes. All waitlist reservations can be managed in the app or on our website, and then all you have to do is monitor your inbox for an email from CB Fit that tells you when you get in! Waitlists close 12 HOURS before class start time, allowing you time to cancel your reservation without penalty if your plans have changed and you can no longer attend class.
  • Remember, you are still responsible for taking yourself off any waitlists or canceling any successful waitlist reservations if your plans have changed, or you will be subject to our cancellation policy. Within that 12 hour window, our waitlist is no longer automatic, so feel free to grab any class opening without having to be on the wait list!

Running Late to Class?

We know life happens and people run late. If you are running late and it’s your first time to the studio we will happily reschedule you so you can get the full run down of the machine to better your experience on the machines.

If you have been to the studio before and are running late, you can join the class. However, if there is a person physically waiting for a spot in the class, your spot will be given away to the standby client at the start of class. Since our classes are only 45 minutes, we don’t have a grace period. You will not be penalized and your class will be credited back to your account.
